The Rotal Lawyers are the only lawyers authorized to plead before the Tribunal of the Roman Rota and all ecclesiastical courts of first and second instance.

Who they are and why to choose them

Rotal lawyers are lawyers who have obtained their qualification from the Tribunal of the Roman Rota, commonly known as the Sacred Rota, and are entitled to plead before all ecclesiastical courts of first and second instance. In addition to having a considerable expertise, thanks to the long course of studies, they therefore have the undoubted advantage of being able to follow the same case in different jurisdictions. The difficulty and selection to access this title justify the very small number of Rotal lawyers, or about 290 worldwide.
